About

“Every song starts as a shade before it becomes a sound. I’m writing to translate the color.
— Eshan Agarwal
Eshan Agarwal is a New York–based singer-songwriter who has been writing and performing since the age of five. Growing up with synesthesia — where music appears as color — he developed an early fascination with sound, texture, and emotional tone, shaping a songwriting style rooted in experimentation and vivid storytelling.
After early experiences singing for commercials and performing at local venues, Eshan began releasing original music in 2024 with his debut EP Lost. Blending modern pop with influences from earlier generations of songwriters, his music is defined by emotional honesty, melodic intimacy, and a deep sense of personal reflection.
His recent work transitions him thematically and sonically into a more confident and intentional person and musician — culminating in the 2026 album Strangers Again, a twelve-song study of endings that moves between orchestral intimacy and modern pop clarity.
